Intrapsychotherapeutic transcontextualisation: shapes of a new form of psychotherapy research with a focal point on epistemological dialogue
Abstract
During the last years scientists and psychotherapists have grown more and more discontent with conventional forms of psychotherapy research. The traditional quantitative methods as well as the relevance of empirical results have been doubted and questioned because of the structural quality of psychotherapy. Indeed simply quantitative-empirical methods of psychotherapy research have become insufficient by now. Furthermore an innovative and qualitative research has to deal with the development, the improvement, and the practice of systematic reflections of basics in psychotherapy. First steps towards a more epistemological psychotherapy research have already been made. Keywords Psychotherapy research; Qualitative methodology; Epistemology
