Abstract

The virtual discourse between colleagues of different therapy schools shows that it is necessary to approach the subject (sexual) abuse in psychotherapy from different perspectives. The discourse describes main positions which have to be well regarded in order to talk about the subject in a competent, well-balanced, respectful and serious way. The discourse shows how important it is to talk respectfully like in a peer supervision. This is especially necessary if one wants to take enough care for the different personal points of view about the subject, the personal feelings and the relevant experiences.

Keywords (Sexual) abuse in psychotherapy; Ethics; Therapy schools; Cultural context; Hermeneutics; Colleagual respect; Therapy relationship; Scientific discourse.
