The concept of self-experience in systemic therapy

Abstract

This article gives an insight into the theory and practice of self-experience in the context of systemic trainingship. After the introduction of self-concepts in systemic theory, models of single-self-experience and group-self-experience are presented. A specific systemic method is illustrated in more detail within a group situation.

Corina Ahlers

Dr. Corina Ahlers, geb. 1958. Studium der Psychologie in Wien. Mehrjährige Tätigkeit an psychiatrischen Krankenhäusern, seit 1986 Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Ehe- und Familientherapie der Stadt Wien. Arbeits- und Forschungsschwerpunkte: Lehrtätigkeit in der Ausbildung zur systemischen Therapeutin, systemische Konzepte in der Einzeltherapie, narrative Konzepte der,, Person “, Konstruktionismus und deren Anwendungin der Therapie und in der Ausbildung.
