For the understanding of psychotherapy and social psychiatry from the perspective of the dialog in the "psychosis-seminar"
Abstract
People with experience of psychosis, their relatives and professionals demand in the so called “psychosis-seminar" a completion of psychopathology with anthropological aspects. The anthropological perspective is presented and founded from the dialogue. This perspective appears to be suitable to promote the understanding between social psychiatry and (psychoanalytical) psychotherapy. The consequences for psychotherapy are discussed in particular concerning the formation of speech, the reflexion of power, the appreciation of every-day-events and the integration of pharmacotherapy. The dominating binding task of social psychiatry and psychotherapy is to make psychiatry ready for dialogue. Pharmacotherapy and psychoeducation, two actual mainstream methods, are not capable to achieve this effect alone and therefore become a problem on their own.
