Movement and meaning - Vital chances for therapeutic communication
Abstract
Movement can be perceived and analized as a significant representative means, aided by Stern’s concept of “vital conturs”. In broadening “affect attunement" by an active movement dimension, signifi-cant meaning can be shaped in a dialogue of “dynamic-rhythm actions ” together with the client I patient. This concept being explicated in recurring on modern infant research and Lichtenbergs motivational theory, is exemplified by a vignette from Analytic Movement- and Dance Therapy.
