Semiotic in psychoanalysis, psychotherapy and neurology - Significance and prospects
Abstract
In respect ofthe human being modern medicine orientates itself without exception using the scientific model of linear causality; this applies also to the psychological discipline which increasingly redefines itself in a neurobiological context.In this situation, a medicine for a body without a soul and a psychology for a soul without a body, the semiotic approach offers a human biology which regards body and soul as a life long inseparable unit of our psychosomatic existence.
Using examples this presentation demonstrates the relevance of a relationship in a sound semiotic form for psychoanalysis, psychotherapy and neurology.
