How effective is existential analytical psychotherapy: a study about the efficiency of existential analysis
Abstract
This article was designed to introduce a research study carried out by the International Society of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis (Vienna) in which the effectiveness of existential analytical individual therapy in psychotherapeutic practice has temporarily been tested on 248 patients. The examination was conceived as a prospective study of effectiveness with a timetable for a series of tests. Variables relevant to existential analysis were taken into consideration upon deciding on the appropriate test, together with standardised tests commonly in use elsewhere. The results provide the evidence for the high effectiveness of existential analytical therapeutic methods. Keywords:
