Abstract

I describe the relationship between writing about patients and the psychodynamics of sexual abuse. There can still be problems in relation to a planned publication even when the patient agreed to the publication and confirmed this by signature. This can also lead to a reactivation of the psychodynamics of sexual abuse. I differentiate between the aspect of manifestation of sexual abuse and the shame affect.

Key words:
Sexual abuse; Publication; Media; Society; Alienation; Shame affect
