The author explores in this article with reference to his own personal experiences the challenges of working across languages and diverse cultural characteristics in the psychosocial field. He relates his findings to the Specific Competencies of Gestalt Therapists as laid down by the European Association for Gestalt Therapy (EAGT) in a model approach.Downloads
