A survey of psychotherapists in Germany, Switzerland and Austria was conducted to investigate whether the integration of methods discussed in psychotherapy science is reflected in psychotherapeutic practice. To this end, psychotherapists (N=150) from the countries were asked to indicate the importance of healing factors, modalities and relationship modalities, media and structural levels (according to Orth & Petzold 2015) for their practical work on a 5-point scale. The procedureand country-specific analysis of the data shows that different assessments arise less in the classic healing factors than in (relationship) modalities, media and structural levels. Psychotherapists with Integrative Psychotherapy as a second method and psychotherapists from Switzerland, where this method is more widespread, rate the practical significance higher.Downloads
