General
The journal Psychotherapie-Wissenschaft publishes twice yearly in German
- original papers
- synopses
- project reports
- case studies
- conference reports
- reviews
- short scientific reports.
- (These only require a brief note to the editor).
The decision to accept a submitted contribution is made by the editorial staff, original papers and reviews are first examined by a panel of experts, who remain anonymous.
Requirements concerning manuscript submissions
The submitted manuscript shall be accompanied by a statement confirming that the work being submitted has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

Submissions should have the following layout
Manuscripts are to be written in MS-WORD or OPEN OFFICE-WRITER – readable documents with 1.5 line spacing, wide margin (30 lines at 60 characters per page).
The overall text length including German and English summary and bibliography shall not exceed 35,000 characters including spaces.
Pages are to be numbered consecutively, but the author's name shall not appear in the header (confidentiality during the expertise).
It is expedient to structure the text using short subheadings (max. 60 chars.)
