Special issue - introduction
Abstract
The article discusses the present status with respect to the topic psychotherapy in hospitals and concomitant problems. The challenges of this field of activity are depicted with respect to the questions of the objectives, diagnostics and indication, multidisciplinary cooperation and assignment of job descriptions, transference and countertransference, as well as the necessity to develop interventions which are specific for illnesses and their therapies.
