Abstinenzlücken in der Therapieausbildung

Abstract

An example shows that the interplay of analysis, treatment, training relationship, and emotional relationship is complex. As a psychoanalyst, I argue for abstinence in therapy. If the professional role is unclear, this often is an outcome of training. I differentiate two basic states of development of training institutions: the phase of movement towards a stable and well grounded institution and the state of institution with all its specific rules and manuals.

Zusammenfassung

Anhand eines Fallbeispiels wird das Zusammenspiel von Analyse, Behandlung, Ausbildungsbeziehung und emotionaler Beziehung als vielschichtiges und brisantes Geschehen dargestellt. Als Psychoanalytiker plädiere ich für eine klare Abstinenz in der therapeutischen Beziehung. Unklarheiten in der beruflichen Rolle resultieren vielfach aus der Ausbildung selbst. Ich unterscheide zwei zentrale Entwicklungsstadien der Ausbildungsinstitution: die Bewegungsphase hin zur stabilen Organisation und die Institutions- phase mit ihren gemeinsamen Regeln.
